Son Death
Anyone think Mohammed Al Fayed indirectly responsible for son's death?
He seems so keen on poking accusatory fingers at the Royal Family for arranging Diana and Dodi's car crash, but it was AL FAYED who ordered the change of security/transport arrangements on the night of their death and AL FAYED who gavee the direct order to have the drunk HENRI PAUL put back on duty to be their driver. It seems crazy to me that this nutter is being given the newspaper space with his crazy, hypocritical accusations when in my mind, HE is the one who looks to be guilty. Anyone agree?
I agree completely with you. I've wondered and wondered why on Earth Al Fayed has pursued his ridiculous vendetta against...well, I was going to say the Royal Family, but it's pretty much everyone, without a shred of evidence even after three previous enquiries.
I think the best explanation is that if a court could blame someone - anyone - for the car crash, that would remove his own guilt for indirectly causing the crash through changing the plans of the security team and overruling the bodyguards when they told him it was a very bad idea - which, tragically, it turned out to be. If he wants to see the single person still alive who is most responsible for that crash he should look in a mirror.
