Are all military servicemembers, who are fighting for war heroes?
When we think a war hero, we usually think for someone who lives an active risk his - putting themselves in danger apparent (And even die) to save the lives of those around them. How about someone who join the army for college money hates war, keep your head down and not do something unusual, different from its work? He does not play in the hail of bullets or throw grenades to all, he can not wait to get home and can not wait for his record be created. Do you think this person is a hero?
After 9 / 11, I noticed the word "Hero" appeared everywhere. Frankly, I think the word is used. Football and tennis stars are not heroes. I will go so far as to say most of the people who died on 9 / 11 are not heroes. Max any other person who died that day in a manner completely unrelated to the terrorist attacks. This was a tragic loss, and they are part of a devastating event .. but they are not all the characters (beyond the men and women in and out of uniform, who risked their own their lives to save others). I do not think people which deal with mental illness or disadvantaged individuals competing in sports competitions are heroes. To me hero is a person who acts in a situation That requires courage and sacrifice when there is nothing to gain but much to lose. Acting selflessly in a dangerous situation in a way that benefits others. His real action rather than a person. There are brave people. Brave people. There is inspiration and role model. And then there are heroes ... class reserved for a select few whose acts directly and positively influence private lives of others at large cost or risk to their own. For any benefit. Not for fame. Of course, the husband I am my hero. Although not because he was career Army, but because he kills spiders ... Who would eat my flesh and delve into my brain!
